日常会話向け仮定法

仮定法過去(今のこと) If I were you, I would do the same. (もし私があなただったら、同じことをします。) If I were you, I would do it. (私ならやるよ) If I had more money, I would travel more. (もっとお金があれば旅行するのに) If I had more time, I'd help you. (時間があれば手伝えるんだけど) If he were here, he'd know what to do. (彼がここにいれば分かるのに) If it were sunny, we could go outside. (晴れてたら外行けるのに) 仮定法過去完了(過去のこと) If I had gone to bed earlier, I wouldn't have been so tired. (早く寝てたらこんなに疲れてなかったのに) If I had known that, I would have gone. (知ってたら行ったのに) If I had bought it, I would have saved money. (買ってたらお金節約できたのに) If we had left earlier, we wouldn't have missed the train. (もっと早く出てたら電車逃さなかったのに)

猫と犬では、あなたはどちらの方が好きですか?

 ① Which do you prefer, cats or dogs? 少し大人っぽい/丁寧な印象 ② Which do you like better, cats or dogs? preferより少しカジュアル Do you prefer cats or dogs?もほぼ同じ意味

あなたに会えてうれしいです

 いろんなバリエーションあり ネイティブ寄りなのは: I'm glad to see you. It's good to see you. Nice to see you. 初対面なら: Nice to meet you. I'm happy to meet you. see と meet の違い meet「初めて会う」 see「会う(初対面かどうかは関係ない)」 glad と happy の違い glad → やや自然で日常的 happy → 少しフォーマルで説明的 会話では I'm glad の方がよく出ます。
